👤 Registration Process
Register via www.connectips.com or the App. Important: The Mobile Number and Email address MUST be the same ones registered at your bank branch. Username is permanent and cannot be changed.
🔗 How to Link Bank Account
Login > Dashboard > Bank Account > Link Account. Fill in your exact Account Number and Name as per Bank Records. If names don’t match, the link will stay in ‘PENDING’ or be ‘REJECTED’.
⚡ Self-Verification (Auto-Accept)
1. Click Self Verify in the app.
2. NCHL sends two small paisa deposits to your bank account within 24 hours.
3. Check your statement/SMS, enter those two sequence amounts.
4. Limit: Capped at Rs. 1 Lakh per day.
🏛️ Manual Verification (For Full Limits)
To transfer up to Rs. 20,00,000:
1. Download the verification form from the portal.
2. Sign it (matching your bank record) and visit your Bank Branch.
3. Bank staff will verify and activate the status to ‘ACCEPTED’ within 24 hours.
📱 Changing Mobile or Email
CRITICAL: If you change your Registered Mobile or Email in the ‘Edit Profile’ section, connectIPS will AUTOMATICALLY SUSPEND your linked bank accounts for security. You will be required to re-verify every account after the change.
⚠️ How to Release a Suspended Account
Suspension usually occurs after a password reset, profile change, or suspicious activity.
1. Manual Users: You MUST visit your Bank Branch with a new signed Link Account form. Branch staff must manually release the suspension.
2. Self-Verified Users: Re-run the micro-deposit process or visit the branch for full release.
💸 Transaction Fees 2082/83
As per latest NCHL slabs:
• Rs. 0–500: FREE
• Rs. 501–5,000: Rs. 4
• Above Rs. 5,000: Rs. 8
(Government payments are capped at max Rs. 5 fee)
🔒 User ID Locked Recovery
If your User ID is locked (not bank account), do not visit the bank. You must email support@nchl.com.np from your registered email with a clear photo of your Citizenship/Passport to request a manual unlock.
