🚀 How to Self-Register as Merchant
1. Download Fonepay Business App.
2. Enter your mobile number and the OTP received.
3. Fill out the Know Your Merchant (KYM) form with PAN/Citizenship and Business Photo.
4. Link your Acquirer Bank account. Your QR will be unlocked once the bank approves the KYM details.
💸 Taking Control: Settlement Models
ON-REQUEST (FREE): Tap Profile > Request Withdrawal. Money hits your bank instantly at no cost.
INSTANT (Rs. 5): Every transaction is settled to your bank in real-time automatically.
MULTI-SESSION (FREE): Fixed times (11 AM, 4 PM, 1 AM) for automatic bulk settlement.
🔄 How to Initiate a Refund
1. Go to Payment History.
2. Select the specific transaction and click Initiate Refund.
3. Choose Full Refund or Partial Refund (enter amount).
4. Funds will be deducted from your merchant balance and returned to the customer’s bank account instantly.
🔊 Enable Real-Time Voice Alerts
Hear “Payment of Rs. 500 Received” instantly:
1. Open App > Go to Profile.
2. Tap on Notification Settings.
3. Toggle Voice Notification to ON. Choose between English or Nepali language. Keep your phone’s media volume high.
📱 Adding Staff / Secondary Number
To let your staff receive confirmation SMS without giving them dashboard access:
1. Go to Settings > Notification Settings.
2. Enter the Secondary Mobile Number.
3. Your staff will now receive a confirmation SMS for every successful customer scan.
🤳 Static vs Dynamic QR
Static QR: The physical standee at your counter. Customers enter the amount manually.
Dynamic QR: Generate a unique QR for a specific amount from the app. This prevents customers from entering the wrong amount and speeds up verification.
