Answers to frequently asked questions about dollar cards.

Q: I got a refund from Amazon US to my $500 card. Does my limit increase?

A: No, the refund adds to your balance but doesn’t reverse your annual consumption limit.

Example: Limit $500 → Spent $100 → Limit remaining $400 → Refund $50 received → Balance increases, but limit remaining is still $400.

Q: Can I withdraw cash from Travel Card in Nepal?

A: No, it’s geo-locked. To get money back, visit bank and fill “Refund Form” to convert USD to NPR.

Q: My flight was cancelled. What do I do with Travel Card?

A: Surrender card and sell dollars back to bank within 7 days of cancellation. Holding dollars without travel plans is not permitted.

Q: Can freelancers load Upwork earnings onto this card?

A: No, this card is for outward payments only. To receive money, open FCY Account or use normal savings (auto-converted to NPR).

Q: Can I use $500 card for Google Play/App Store?

A: ✅ Yes, this is permitted and works smoothly.

Q: What if I lose my Travel Card abroad?

A: Immediately call bank’s 24/7 helpline from overseas. Most banks can block card instantly and issue emergency cash.
