How do I reset my MeroShare password step-by-step?
Forgot your password? Follow this:
1. Click “Forgot Your Password?” on the MeroShare login page.
2. Fill in your DP, Username, and Email. You MUST enter your Date of Birth (DOB) exactly as per your Demat records.
3. Check your email for the reset link. Once you click it, you’ll be asked to verify your DOB again for security before setting a new password.

Why can’t I see my IPO result immediately?
IPO results go through different servers. After the official allotment ceremony:
• Official IPO Result Site: Usually takes 3 to 4 hours to update the database for everyone.
• MeroShare App/Portal: This takes much longer (around 12 to 24 hours) because the data has to be synced from the Issue Manager’s server to the CDSC central server. For the fastest check, always use the dedicated result portal.

What is my DP ID and where can I find it?
The DP ID is the first 5 digits of your 16-digit BOID number. It represents your bank or broker. If you don’t know it, you can select your bank’s name from the dropdown menu on the MeroShare login page.
Why does it say “Unauthorized” or “Invalid Login”?
This is a common bug during high traffic (like new IPO results). If your password is correct, try Incognito Mode or clear your browser cookies. If you are using the app, try switching to the web version as it handles traffic better.
